Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

Wednesday, March 12, 2008

So we went to the doctor today and we are scheduled to be induced on March 18th at 6 am. Today they checked the baby to make sure he responded well to stress and had enough ambiotic fluid left. He has lots of fluid left so they said he is probably really comfortable and probably not ready to come out. He moved lots when they were doing the ultrasound and it's weird how big he is. Then when they went to do the stress test he decided he didn't want to move any more, which for is typical Logan. Every time I try to get him to move for someone else to feel he always stops. It's almost like a big game to him. They have this vibrator devise that they put on his head that got him really going so they could watch his heart react and he did really well. I even had 2 contractions while they were watching, which I didn't feel by the way, and he handled them great. Overall they said he is a healthy baby just content to have me carry him around. It was nice to hear that he is doing good and to actually have a date as to when we'll get to hold him.

I'm watching you try to sleep right now in the delivery room. You are doing a great job! I never thought he'd come on his own. I love you sweetie! Good luck with the pushing! We're almost done.
