Dumb dog

Sierra got out of the yard again! She squeezed through this spot in the fence which couldn't be bigger than a couple of inches. Mike-e got in the car to go look for her and found her at the bottom of the street covered in cactus thorns. We tried to get them all out but she had them in her paws, her face and even some in her mouth. We ended up having to take her to the vet, which since it was after 5:00 meant the emergency room. $300 later and she is doing good. I really wish she'd stay in the yard.

Veggies!

We started Logan on veggies on Saturday. We started with sweet potatoes and just replaced one of his rice cereal feedings. He made a lot of faces on Saturday but was fine today when he ate them.

Cute picture!

The other day I gave Logan and bath and thought it would be fun to try and give him a mohawk. His hair looked so cute I couldn't resist taking pictures. Mike-e then used his photo editing program to make one of the pictures look really good. I posted it because I think it's so cute and Mike-e did a really good job with it.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today was Mike-e's 30th birthday. He is such a good man and I love being married to him. He takes excellent care of Logan and Logan just smiles everytime he sees his dad. We both want to wish him a happy birthday and let him know how much we love him.

New shoes

Logan's Grandma Lee bought him some really cute new shoes. They are still too big for him but we tried them out and he just looked so cute.

Logan's Hickie

Logan sucked on his arm so much he gave himself a hickie. We took a picture of it because I just think that's so funny. You can see it on his arm.

Fireworks

Tonight there was a concert in the park by our house. Since Lone Tree was not able to resume the fireworks on the 4th of July they used what they had left over for the concert tonight. We didn't go to the concert because we had a really nice dinner with my family at Red Lobster since my aunt Deanne and my cousin Jenny were in town. Originally we were going to go so that Logan could see the fireworks. When we got home from dinner the fireworks started and it turns out we could see them from our house. We took Logan outside so he could see. He watched them all but I couldn't tell if he liked them or not since he just starred at them. At least he was awake for these ones and now we know that you can see them from our house so next year we won't have to go down to the park if we don't want to.

Logan's First Rockies Game

Tonight Logan went to his first Rockies game. When we got there it started to rain and Logan just sat on my lap while I tried to keep him dry. He didn't seem to mind at all and would just squeak occasionally when a big gust of wind would hit him. He did really well and didn't start to get restless until about his nap time. In this picture you can see how wet Mike-e is from the rain. Logan didn't get wet at all and was nice and warm while the rest of us were a little chilly.

New toy

Mike-e's mom bought Logan a bouncer. It's so nice to have because a lot of time Logan just wants to stand but can't on his own. Now he can in his bouncer. He is so cute and will turn himself around in it to play with the different toys.

Growing up

Logan is growing so fast He holds himself up so well and laughs a lot. I love to hear him him laugh, it's so cute. He was 20 weeks old on the 31st. I can still remember when Mike-e and I went downtown for the 20 week ultra sound and we got to see the first signs of what Logan was going to look like. Which each milestone that Logan hits I'm very happy and proud but a little sad that he is growing up so fast. Before I know it I'm going to have a toddler running around chasing the dogs.
