Going to sleep at night

I'm sitting here at the computer waiting for Logan to go to sleep so I can go to bed. He goes through fazes where he cries, then starts to "talk" to himself, then is quite then it starts all over. It's really weird. He's really screaming now, better go.

New Milestone!

Today Logan rolled over! I was doing tummy time with him and he started getting very cranky. He apparently decided that he no longer wanted to do tummy time so he rolled back over onto his back. I was so excited and yelled for Mike-e since he wasn't with me. Mike-e was bummed that he missed it so we put Logan back on his tummy to see if he would do it again and he did. I got it on video tape too. As soon as Mike-e gets it edited and formated he'll post it on the blog. It's amazing how happy we were over this accomplishment. Life it's funny that way. When you are little everyone tells you that you are doing a great job for all the little things, when you grow up sometimes no one even appreciates the big things.

Best part of my day

The best part of my day is coming home to Logan and being able to hold him. Last night he took a nap on me and he was so cute. I loved just rocking and watching him sleep. When I put his pacifier in his mouth now he'll grab onto my hand and hold it. I really love that!

Happy 3 months!

Today Logan is 3 months old. It's amazing how fast time flies. I love to watch Logan and see what new things he is doing each day. He can now hold on to his toys and hold his head up really well and he "talks" non stop some days. If you sit him up against the chair he'll now lean himself forward so his back isn't touching the couch. He can't do it for very long but I'm impressed he can do just that. I was sitting at the computer the other night looking at pictures and video from when he was born and he has changed so much. And while I can't wait to see what new thing he learns I hope he doesn't grow up too fast.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday. She is the best mom in the world and deserves the best. She is so selfless and caring. I'm so glad that I have her in my life and that Logan has her as his grandma.

Cranky baby

Today I figured out the fastest way to go from a calm baby to a cranky baby....Saline Nose Spray! Logan has been really congested these last couple days and the blue nose getter just wasn't working. The doctor recommended using a Saline nose spray first to break up the gunk. I was very reluctant to try it since I know I hate things being shoved up my nose. He had been grumpy all day though and you could see how congested he was so I decided to give it a try. The moment that stuff went up his nose he just freaked out and started screaming at the top of his lungs. He then kept shaking his head to try and deter me from doing the other side. Afterwards I used the blue nose getter and was happy that the saline rinse did the trick. Even though he was not happy about the experience it really cleared up his sinuses and made it so he could breath. Hopefully he stays uncongested for awhile, since the rinses are not fun for either one of us.

New toy

Logan's new favorite thing to play with.... His Hands! It's really cute but makes him all slobbery.
